Sales training for radio groups

You have 90 days left. Are your salespeople actually moving deals forward?

You're looking at the numbers. You're looking at the pipeline. And you're trying to figure out one thing:

How do I help my sales team close as much business as possible before December 15th?

You don't need more activity for the sake of activity. You need the opportunities already in front of your team to actually turn into revenue.

Here's what the end of the year looks like right now.

On paper, the pipeline looks full. But when you go deal by deal in the sales meeting, half of it is "waiting to hear back."  The other half is sending recap emails and leaving voicemails, but the gap to budget isn't getting any smaller.

Meanwhile somebody is asking if they can throw in bonus spots or knock the rate down just to get something signed before month end.

Your team isn't lazy...they're working hard. They just need a couple of practical things they can do during their sales conversations to finally close the deal.

I got you!

Session 1 · The sales process01

Take Control of the Sales Process and Close Deals Faster

Your team learns how to lead every conversation to a clear next step, so deals keep moving instead of dying in follow-up.

This one's for you if your team:
Keeps pushing close dates in the CRM
Ends meetings without a clear next step
Has prospects go dark and ghost after the CNA
Spends way too much time circling back, following up and chasing people
Talks about "sending an email" and "leaving a voicemail" more than closing
Has great conversations that stall out and die
Is watching the sales cycle get longer and longer
Session 2 · Better questions02

Creating Value and Urgency

Your team learns to ask the kind of questions that uncover real problems, so buyers see radio (and any other media/services they're selling) as a need, not a nice-to-have, and decide faster.

This one's for you if your team:
Keeps running into price objections
Hears "maybe next month" (or next quarter, or next year)
Gets lost selling features and benefits, or trying to convince people it's a fit
Asks surface-level questions and gets surface-level answers
Struggles to explain what makes your stations different
Leans on discounts and promos to create urgency, and you're watching it eat your margins
Does your team need both? Let's talk about what that looks like. Book a call
How it works

Simple to book.

STEP 01

Hop on a quick call

15 minutes. You tell me what's going on with the team and where you are against budget. We pick the session (or both) and lock in a date.

STEP 02

I tailor it to your team

Your sellers answer a few quick questions ahead of time so the examples and role plays match the deals they're working right now.

STEP 03

We go live

90 minutes to 2 hours, virtual, interactive. Your team walks out with a framework they can use on their very next call.

L'areal Lipkins
Who's teaching

Hey, I'm L'areal Lipkins.

One thing I know for sure after training over 10,000 salespeople in the last 17 years: the ones who close the most aren't the best talkers. They're the ones who ask the best questions and never leave a conversation without a clear next step.

I first spoke for the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) in 2017, and then again in 2020. Since then, I've had the pleasure of speaking for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters three times, and state broadcaster associations in Minnesota, Louisiana, Nebraska, Arkansas and Mississippi, to name a few.

So I get what your sellers are up against. They're selling something that can be hard to make tangible, they're competing with every other media option out there, and they're expected to create urgency around something the advertiser doesn't always see as urgent.

That's why I don't teach scripts. I teach simple frameworks your team can use on their very next call.

What Top Performing Salespeople Do Different

Change Your Mindset, Level Up Your Skills, and Close More Sales

I wrote the book on what separates the sellers who hit their number from the ones who don't. In the training, your team doesn't just read about it. They practice it on the deals they're working right now.

Frameworks, not scripts. Talk less, ask more.

"L'areal helped me open my eyes on being a consultant vs. being a sales rep. People don't want a sales rep, they want a relationship and a solution."

Benjamin

There's still time to hit this year's number.

Every week that goes by is another week of deals sliding. Let's get your team trained while there's still runway to close what's already in the pipeline. Grab 15 minutes on my calendar and we'll figure out which session fits.
